Aussie Day 1

Alhamdulillah after around 8 hours journey, we finally reach our destination...Good morning from Aussie \(^_^)/ Its 6.30am KL time  and around 10am Aussie time and it was a bright shining day but the best thing here was that you wont feel the heat as what we feel in KL...smile :)

Since we were landing on the Budget Terminal, Gold Coast,so we have to go through a long queue due to they have like a few counters open up for public. Lucky that we've being informed by someone how Australian's act upon outsiders who came in to their country. We have to be scanned 2 times which im not sure why but there's a weird thing happen when we go for the 2nd checkpoint, once they check our information, asking about our current job, hotel that we are going to stay then, walla they just scan thru our bag n let us go without asking a lot of thing like other person does where they even have to open up their bags and take out all the stuffs one by one...oh god! im really thanking you for simplifying ours....

Next destination was heading to the hotel to check in. But i believe that it was still too early to check in but nothing much we can do besides trying our luck later....we choose to stay @ Mantra Legends Hotel, Surfers Paradise...never tot that its gonna be a very interesting places which located near the beach! Walla! Once we arrive at the hotel, just like what i tot, we have to wait until 2pm to check in because the room was still occupied and have to wait till they finish up with the cleaning process...While waiting for the clock strike 2, we decided to have a walk around the surfers paradise...take a look of what we can do, where we can eat, the cybercafe (this is the most important thing since we  dont turn our roaming on, so its a must to have a place to communicate with anyone in KL)...

First time being in a country that Islam was not the main religious kinda freaking us out because its gonna be quit challenging for us to find the food but Alhamdulillah, there's few restaurant was open up with Halal food even there is a few restaurant looks suspicious even with the Halal sign and our first food of the day @ Aussie was the Ali Baba's Kebab...thanks to my dearest hubby which as usual, he will be doing almost all the research about things that we shud and shudnt do when travelling in any places. and as for this time, he did bring along the list of Halal's restaurant in Surfers Paradise and definitely Ali Baba's Kebab was listed as one of it...

Done with our lunch, next activity was walking around surfers paradise...let see what do they have in surfers paradise and why this place was called a surfers paradise...

Yes! definitely....the beach was mostly meant for surfers instead of swimmers....this is because of they have a huge wave which suitable for the surfers which of coz to surf and they even have a surfers class for newbies...surfers paradise beach was awesomely white, clean n beautiful....as for me i think, i can even sit on the beach the whole day if i want to because of the calm environment and everything was like greatly in place...we walk along the beach till we reach a shopping mall and as usual, since today was a first day, so window shopping is a must before decided to grab anything :) ...

When it was almost 2pm, we decided to move back to hotel and on our way back, we saw another Muslim's restaurant that we decided to be our dinner's place to be tonite and it was Maharani Malaysian Seafood Restaurant. The prices? Just wait n see when the time comes...hehehe :D

By the time we reach at the hotel, we still have to wait for a few more minutes for them to finish up the arrangement and then we were finally in our room and have some rest before starting our next journey tonite...here's some view of room that we stay in Mantra Legends Hotel...

This is the view from entrance door. Thank God, they did provide an electronic stove n microwave :)

The bed definitely and table for two :)

This is the side view from our balcony... the beach...
