Spending a Day with Mifta

Spending a day with my hubby's cousin, Mifta from Padang, Indonesia was another fascinating day for three of us. We went to Berjaya Time Square and entered the Cosmic World and asked Mifta to play almost everything inside the theme park and we are so happy to see her happy playing all the games without even feel scared or shy to try something....and the best part was she took 2 times riding on the roller coster and she was really happy for it...hehe i cant even imagine riding on a roller coster bcoz im not that confident with the track and especially when its entering the mall...huhuu...

Finished playing in Cosmic World, we went to KLCC by train since that is part of our objective today...eventhough it was a very tiring day, but we are so happy playing, eating, walking, taking pictures together and really hope that Mifta feel happy to be here in Malaysia... ^_^

My Sis's Engagement

The time has come for my sis to move her status from available to unavailabe...hermmm....and today was her day for the first step in turning her dreams to reality. after being frustrated and frustating others, thanks God the time finally here...as for the event she was lucky enough since my mom has already finish up renovating one of our room and make it be much bigger and comfort and the engagement planner was by my future younger sister in-law, ayu.nothing much that we need to do except for cleaning up the house, moving out the furniture and the rest of the thing has been handle by a person that being assigned. Alhamdulillah that the event went very well and in place.

Audit ooo Audit

yeah, its the first audit day for me in UiTM. Ive been in the same situation before and of coz i hate it. why? because we have to prepare a lot of thing, update things that havent being updated, and the most important we are not just preparing and updating the documents but we are preparing and updating ouselves too. get ready to be called and asked to check on anything that related to our task. i can still remember the audit week in ExxonMobil and i dunno why, everytime we had audit, my id will be among the most popular id to be chose and becoz of of that, i have to make sure that im always being updated with the latest news and everything that i do, i have the records with me...having such experience, it does teach me a lot of things on how to handle things during audit in my new career....alhamdullilah and how i missed my time with ExxonMobil....

Since we are in the midst of semester break, we spent the whole day to prepare our documents and ourselves. and as for today, we can actually see how busy kak dayah was in preparing her things and it was so historic since it was so hard for us to see kak dayah in such situation...ehehehe...

This is not my actual table...its hazril's but since she was on leave, so, hehe...im using it for a while and sorry hazril, for all the mess.. ^_^

While busy preparing the things, there are something sweet for me and the rest of IL... i got my present from my dearest student....thanks Syida...mmmuuaahss mmuaahhss....at least it could help to reduce our stress and make us smile... :)

Java oooo Java

Today, we went to search for my reference text book for a new code that being assigned to me and the code was meant for JAVA Programming....waaaaaa i never took Java before, how am i suppose to teach the students?ow my goodness....because of that reason, by hook or by crook i need to get my own reference book but have to make sure that it's easy to understand especially when we are being given a short notice about the new code... but im so glad that i've being married to a person who's in the same field and knows a lot about programming than i am and he suggest one book to me which i think it was among the most interesting books that i ever read in my whole life...because im a visual learner and therefore, i would love to see a lot of picture instead of text...and the way they explain about something was damn interesting, where they are trying to relate with a movie, and a real life...the books that im talking about was Head First Java by O'Reilly. Found that almost all the Head First version was interesting to read. Since the book was a bit limited in MPH, we have to ask the MPH people to locate the book for us and they manage to find it in MPH Mid Valley and One Utama.

We decided to go to MH Mid Valley since i never been there since i been relocate to Kedah.Pity me, huh..hehe...so there we go. Mid Valley, here we come and when we reach there, it might not be our lucky day since we are stuck in a traffic jam but not because of accident or traffic light or anything but because of most of them were also heading to Mid Valley and most of the parking lot was full and to avoid from being stuck in the traffic for a longer time, we decided to park our car at the apartment area besides Mid Valley...we have to walk for about 5 minutes to Mid Valley from the car park and really hope that we are going to find the book that we are looking for or else, it such a waste..especially when we've being wasting out time in the traffic.

When entering Mid Valley tru the new wing, here we go. something make me smile. :) there's christmas tress inside the mall and it was so beautiful...hehe and as usual, ill not gonna missed any chance to take a picture of myself...

Finish taking a pictures, we went straight to MPH and look for the book and thank God, the book was there and without thinking to much, we just pay for it and decide to go to other shopping mall because we are a bit worried to leave our car at the unfamiliar area.

Happy Birthday to me \(^_^)/ hehe...it was a nice birthday since hubby was here with me in Kedah...we spent the whole day together and by the time we are on our way to Alor Setar, my housemate call me :

Housemate: Lin, my toilet's door was lock from the inside. Where were you?
Me : Oooppsss, im sorry but im on my way to Alor Setar with my husband. will it be ok if u just break the door lock?ill fix it when im coming back to Kedah next week.
*whispering to my hubby >> you forgot to unlock the toilet's door!!!
Housemate: Okay...

For the first time ever, im going home by bus and based on my hubby's experience it was one of the most comfort bus ever that he ever ride for a long journey and so here we go. Two ticket for both of us to ride on Sani Ekspress...

Before we went to the bus station, we plan to stop at any stall for dinner and since we are not that familiar with the location, we just stop at any stall that we feel attractful...hehe :D ... the unique about this stall was when we are trying to find the name of the restaurant because we only manage to find it when look upwards and there you are...they place up their restaurant name on the roof top...hehe :D

This are the foods that we ordered and yes, it look so tasty...cant wait to eat it especially the fish...ermmmm nyum nyum....

And yes, it not just look so tasty because it was damn tasty...hehe...nothing was left behind

Since im going back by bus, so i have to buy a flight ticket at Alor Setar and leave my car there. From Alor Setar, thank God, Kak Dayah was around and she pick us up at the Alor Setar Airport and sent us to the bus station...thank you ^_^ then our journey start @ 10.15pm as stated in the ticket...and yes it was a really they do have a comfort place and suitable for long journey.just imagine, i felt like im sitting a meters away from my hubby eventhough we are taking a couple seat...hehe :D the couch was big enough for me to move from 1 position to another position as i cant stay in 1 position for a long time... :p thats it for today...nite nite

@ Tupah...uuuu

Tupah was known as one of the most "famous" place among "certain" people. The government should "thanks" to those group of youngster who manage to make this place to be so "popular" without they have to promote it.hermm....because of the "popularity" and since hubby is here with me, we went to see the "famous" place together. We were actually plan to spend some times there because based on what we've being informed, there's a waterfall n nice clear river in Tupah but by the time we reach @ the end of the road, yes, the "waterfall" is there but it was not like what we expect. it was a water fall from the dam.so frustrated....

@ Pantai Merdeka

This is my 6 month being @ Kedah and this is our first time ever went to Pantai Merdeka...we went there base on the signboard and sometimes feel a bit lost since its a lil bit way deeper into a village before reach Pantai Merdeka...but Alhamdulillah, after almost 30 minutes, we manage to be @ Pantai Merdeka...its not like what i imagine in the first place since as far as im concern, Pantai Merdeka sounds like a very popular place and for me, a popular place should at least looks like Morib but well, different people have different perception so this is it...It does have a beautiful scenery of sea with small island and people's fishing using net at the seashore....

Hubby is listening to the music all the time when we reach Pantai Merdeka and did you know what song did he listening too?hehe...he keep on repeating this song over and over and over again....oooo god! Below was the vidoe clip of the song that hubby is playing over n over again....

yeah! its Cinta Pantai Merdeka song by Tropika....hehehe...he was not just listening, he's singing too but of course in slow level of volume...how cute (^_^) ..we dint stay longer at Pantai Merdeka since there was nothing to do except for looking at the sea...there are restaurant nearby by dint really feel to eat anything because of the "condition"...they are about to move out from the old restaurant building to the new building, so we might need to come again if we wish to try the food :)

Before we leave Pantai Merdeka, I was pushed by hubby to take these pictures....he said we might not come to this place again so keep the memories as much as we can...yeah right, memories of me alone taking the picture in the middle of the road...

Cooking Session @ Kak Aisyah's House....

Yeay! Finally I cooked something @ Kedah...wahahhahah...its kinda funny n wierd thing that ever happen in my life where im not cooked at a place i stayed for a long time....actually my housemate has bought the stove but we are having a problem with where could we buy a gas with a lower price and yet still couldnt find it since the one that sold at the Laguna's area was a bit expensive....

As for today, we just decided to cook 2 types of food which is meat and vegetables...2 main chef with 2 sub-chef working together to cook the dishes....hehhee....it was a happy activity that i ever did here in Kedah...once finished the cooking phase, we move to the next phase which is EAT! ahahahha....spending almost 45minutes to prepare the food but 20 minutes to finish it....kui3....

Since Kak Aisyah's husband were attending an induction at Puncak Alam, so she'll be staying at our house and for the first time ever, i know that Radix have their own ice-cream too and Kak Aisyah bought 1 for each of us...thanks kak aisyah....how it taste?for me, its just like other ice-cream but the different was they add the Koko Krunch into it and thats make it tastier....

Basic Teaching & Leraning Course (KAP) - 1 to 5 Dec 09

Spending 5 days at UiTM, Puncak Alam attending the Basic Teaching and Learning Courses organize by iLQam. It is a compulsory course that need to be attended by new assigned lecturer in this university. Looking at the activity schedule, (pic below) we assume that its gonna be a tiring 5 days since class start at 8.30am and ended 10.30pm and of coz, there's a short gap for us to rest, eat and solat but alhamdulillah the courses was not as what we expected since most of the speakers know how to attract the audience with their actions, voice and activities...

Since the program held for 5 days, we were given a hostel to stay and Rafflesia was suppose to be the assigned hostel in the first place but they change it to Angsana...doesnt really matter for me since im not going to stay there for the whole 5 days...hehe...ive made a deal with hubby that ill come back at 4.30 and prepared dinner for us, then he have to send and accompany me for the nite courses....hehe...

This is a view from my room after raining...seems like we are at the top of the hill...but yes we are and thats the reason why they called this place as Puncak Alam....hermmm...this is my assumption, dont take it serious, okay? ^_^ ... Below is some snaps of my room....the hostel was almost like an apartment with 4 rooms which could occupied 8 students...

At the end of the courses, we are required to do a mock teaching. We are being divided into a smaller group which around 17 to 18 participants in each group and there will be examiner to examine our teaching process...As for these assignment, i've chosed to teach multimedia subject which is animation and it was actually the same slide n method that i used for the 2nd mock teaching during the interview...

On the final day, I met someone that i never thought i would met....she is Leen Mafea...one of used to be Ujang Cartoonist before...the funny thing was that, she tried not to reveal who she is but she did it with a very smooth way where only people who concentrate on her slide could know who she is....and here she is....
